The Final Cure Party
Host a FINAL CURE Party!
Getting together with friends to watch the Men’s College Championship Game on April 2? Wouldn’t it be great to party with a purpose? By hosting a FINAL CURE Party, you can increase awareness and educate the public about the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment at the same time! Below are the details on how to host a great party that will raise money to fund research on the world’s most promising cancer treatment while you enjoy the game. Every day and every dollar brings the Kanzius Noninvasive Radiowave Cancer Treatment research closer to human trials and the hope of a cancer treatment with no side effects!
OK... What do I do now?
STEP 1:
Pick your event location to host a FINAL CURE Party
Make sure that the location that has the resources to view the game, ideas include:
- Community Establishments: Restaurants, Community Organizations (Elks, YMCA, Churches, etc…)
- Campus locations: Student Center, Recreation Center, Student Common Area
- Personal Home, Apartment or Dorm
STEP 2:
Arrange permission to hold the event at your chosen location:
Confirm your arrangements by emailing, mailing or delivering the KCRF event participation letter to your host.
STEP 3:
Decide how you will raise funds at your event.
The more your guests know about how to donate, the more likely they are to contribute. To maximize the number of donations, please do the following:
- Suggest a donation amount: Ask attendees to donate online at www.FinalCureParty.com
- Encourage guests to donate online before arriving, then ask your guests to show their donation confirmation email at the door or donate at the door
- Be clear about what kind of donations you are willing to accept: cash, checks or both. Checks are payable to Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation
- Collect donations at the event by making containers available as people enter your event
- Use the Internet to spread the word about your event to drive people to the webpage. This allows guests to donate even if they are not able to attend and they can also “forward” to others
- Including donation envelopes in the invitation also allows people who cannot attend to participate
- If you choose to use one of the many free websites for electronic invitations (like www.evite.com ) make sure to include a link to the KCRF website
STEP 4:
Invite guests. The number one reason people don’t participate is…they haven’t been invited!
- Include the details: who, what, when, where, and why
- Invite family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues
- Invite four times the number of people that you would like to attend
- Encourage everyone to RSVP so you know how many people to expect at your event
- Specify that this is a benefit event and include donation details
- Specify “Refreshments Provided”, “Bring Your Own” or “Refreshments Available to Purchase”
- Use multiple methods of invitation: mail, email, website, blogs, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, phone, text, verbal invitations, posters, ad in school paper, earned media, organizational partnerships to spread the word (Greeks, Social, Community, Religious)
- Create and post a Facebook Event and invite all your friends and family
- Email electronic invitation to all your contacts and urge friends to forward
- Encourage the “bring a friend”, invite others, and forward techniques to boost attendance
- Print out invitation poster and post around your campus and community (public bulletin boards, library, local businesses, etc…)
STEP 5:
